Photograph Restoration Service
Besides taking pictures, I also restore them.
Over time, photographs will yellow.  Depending on how they were stored, sometimes they can be even more severely damaged.  The damage can range from scratches, tears, and sometimes even holes on the oldest of photographs.

This can all be fixed!

The photograph you see on this page is close to 30 years old.  The original is yellowed, and some scratches are visible.  The touched up photograph has had the yellowing corrected, and the scratches removed.

The cost to restore photos is relatively cheap!  The cost to you is minimal.  Some photos are easy to restore, while others are more difficult and require more time and effort

Pricing:

Since all photographs are different, and all photographs will take different times to restore, not all restorations will cost the same.  The charge is $20 for one hour of work, with a half hour minimum.  Billing is in half hour increments.  The cost to you could be as little as $10 to bring back fading family memories!

How to get started:

All the effort needed by you is simple.

Step 1:  To get started, the photograph that you want to be restored needs to be converted into a digital format.  This is easy to do.  A computer scanner is all you need.  If you do not have a scanner, you can have your photograph scanned at several office supply stores that offer this service, including FedEx Kinko’s™.

Step 2:  After the photograph is converted into a digital format, you need to email the file to restore@michaelddiaz.com
After payment, the file will be emailed back to you, in which you can take the restored photograph to any photo lab that prints digital photos.  You will even be able to make enlargements once you have the photograph in a digital format.
